Law Society Business Leases

On OFIS No. 8 in September of last year, we notified you of the Law Society’s amendments to its business leases, LS1 and LS2. 
 
In December, the Law Society advised us that clause 1.4(d) had been inadvertently omitted from the two new LS2 forms which the Law Society had drafted. 
 
This missing clause concerns the insurance of the premises and the Law Society intends to publish a note in a future edition of the Law Society’s Gazette.  
 
We have now reprinted LS2 (Whole) (Reg.) and LS2 (Whole) (Unreg.) 
 
LS1 (Part) (Reg.) and LS1 (Part) (Unreg.) are unaffected by these alterations. 
 
CURRENT EDITIONS OF LS2 (WHOLE) (REG) AND (UNREG.) CAN BE USED IF SUITABLY AMENDED. HOWEVER, THE LATEST EDITIONS OF BOTH THESE TWO FORMS ARE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY.
