Second Commencement Order

The second Commencement Order under the Companies Act 2006 will bring Schedule 2 and sections 942 to 992 of the 2006 Act into force on 6th April. 
 
Companies House has replaced existing Company forms 429(4), 429dec and 430A with 980(1), 980 dec and 984. Because sections 323-329 of the Companies Act 1985 will be repealed from 6th April, directors will no longer need to provide details of their interests in the shares or debentures of a company. After 6th April, Companies House will no longer accept Companies forms 325 or 325A which will become redundant. 
 
NEW COMPANIES FORMS 980(1), 980 dec AND 984 WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE 6TH APRIL. FORMS 429(4), 439 dec, 430A, 325 AND 325A SHOULD NOT BE SENT TO COMPANIES HOUSE ON OR AFTER 6TH APRIL.
