Home Information Pack Forms

On OFIS 6, in May, we announced details of our intention to publish these new and amended forms which were originally scheduled for use from 1st June. 
 
The Law Society has replaced the existing Con 29 (Part 1) and Con 29 (Part 2) forms with two new forms to cater for the introduction of home information packs (HIPs) on 1st August. 
 
CON29R replaces 29_PtI(2002) and contains a new enquiry box to ensure compliance with Schedule 7, Part 1 of the Home Information Pack Regulations. 
 
CON29O replaces 29_PtII(2002) and contains a new enquiry concerning common land, town and village greens  
 
Following the Government’s announcement on 22nd May and publication of the Home Information Pack (No.2) Regulations 2007 which will come into force on 1st August, HIP forms 1-4 can only be used in certain types of property transactions. 
 
Con 29DW has been amended in the light of Schedule 8, Parts 1 and 2 of the Home Information Pack (No.2) Regulations 2007.
