Amended Probate Forms

In March’s Budget Statement, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced an increase in the threshold at which Inheritance Tax would become payable in respect of deaths occurring on or after 6th April 2007. 
 
Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has finalised the necessary regulations which will implement this increase on 1st August. 
 
We have updated the PEP sheet (2007), Probate 1 and Probate 1a to reflect these revised figures. PEP sheet (2007) is used in conjunction with the forms of oath which are Probate forms 4, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12. 
 
CURRENT FORMS CAN ONLY BE USED FOR DEATHS BEFORE 6TH APRIL 2007. AMENDED VERSIONS OF THESE THREE FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN AUGUST.
