Amended Civil Procedure Forms
The Ministry of Justice has amended the N5c notes which accompany Form N5B and N208c notes which accompany Form N208 to refer to a protected party instead of a patient. This change in terminology was introduced by the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
CURRENT VERSIONS OF N5 AND N208 HAVE NOT CHANGED AND SO CAN CONTINUE TO BE USED. AMENDED VERSIONS OF N5c AND N208c WILL BE PUBLISHED AT THE NEXT REPRINT OF FORMS N5B AND N208.
