New and Amended Civil Procedure Forms

The Ministry of Justice has made some minor amendments to the N1(c) notes which accompany the N1 Claim Form, N9 and N215 to reflect the introduction of amendments to the Civil Procedure Rules which came into force on 1st October. They have also amended the N2A notes which accompany N2 to reflect changes introduced by the Mental Capacity Act 2005 last October. 
 
N510 is a new form for service out of the United Kingdom’s jurisdiction. 
 
PRACTITIONERS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR LOCAL COURT WHETHER THEY WILL ACCEPT CURRENT VERSIONS OF N9 AND N215. THE N1 AND N2 CLAIM FORMS HAVE NOT BEEN AMENDED, ONLY THEIR NOTES. AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE TOWARDS THE END OF THIS MONTH.
