Amended Probate Forms

In his Budget statement earlier this year, the Chancellor of the Exchequer confirmed an increase in the threshold at which Inheritance Tax becomes payable in respect of deaths occurring on or after 6th April 2009. These provisions will be contained in the Finance Act 2009. 
 
We have updated the PEP Sheet, Probate 1 and Probate 1a to reflect these revised amendments. PEP (2009) should be used in conjunction with the Probate forms of oath 4, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12 
 
CURRENT VERSIONS OF THESE THREE FORMS SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR DEATHS WHICH OCCURRED BEFORE 6TH APRIL 2009. AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN AUGUST.
