Employment Act 2002

The Employment Act 2002 amends and updates certain provisions set out in the Employment Rights Act 1996 with consequential changes to Agreement 10 and CE1B. 
 
Agreement form 10 is a general form of contract and has been amended to incorporate an additional clause concerning an individual’s rights to adoption, maternity, paternity leave and pay. 
 
CE1B has been amended to specify additional provisions concerning the procedure to be followed by an employer who wishes to dismiss an employee 
 
EXISTING FORMS WHICH ARE SUITABLY MODIFIED MAY CONTINUE TO BE USED BUT AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN JUNE.
