The Home Information Pack (Suspension) Order 2010 suspended the operation of sections 155-159 of the Housing Act 2004 concerning the content and supply of home information packs on 21st May.
EXCEPT FOR HOME INFORMATION PACKS COMPILED BEFORE 21ST MAY, CONVEYANCING PRACTITIONERS SHOULD NO LONGER USE THE GOVERNMENT’S HIP FORMS 1-6 IN TRANSACTIONS WHICH STARTED ON OR AFTER 21ST MAY.
