AMENDED CONVEYANCING FORMS

As part of its update to the Conveyancing Protocol, the Law Society has also reviewed its 1998 Code for Completion by Post to reflect miscellaneous changes in conveyancing procedure, including the Land Registry’s identity requirements and electronic discharges. 
 
The relevant enquiries on Con 28B and Con 29(Long) have been amended to refer to the Law Society’s 2011 Code for Completion by Post. 
 
THE CURRENT EDITIONS OF CON 28B AND CON 29(LONG) SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR TRANSACTIONS ON OR BEFORE 1ST APRIL. THE AMENDED VERSIONS OF CON 28B AND CON 29 LONG ARE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY.
