Range: Children Act

Secition 120 of the Adoption and Children Act 2002.

Certain Rules have amended the above forms to take account of a wider definition of 'harm' to children which has been introduced by section 120 of the Adoption and Children Act 2002. 
 
In particular, C1A is a new application form which seeks to clarify whether children are at risk or else have already suffered domestic abuse, violence, physical or emotional harm which is used in conjunction with Children Act forms C1 and C2 when certain CIP conditions are satisfied. 
 
These Rules also include minor amendments to C11, C12 and C19 as a result of changes to the Children Act 1989 made by paragraph 10 of Schedule 5 to the Nursing and Midwifery Order 2001. 
 
OLD FORMS CANNOT BE USED AFTER 31ST JANUARY. NEW FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE TOWARDS THE END OF JANUARY 
 
THE CURRENT EDITION OF C7 HAS ALSO BEEN CHANGED BUT WILL IN FUTURE BE SUPPLIED BY THE COURTS SO HAS BEEN DELETED FROM OUR RANGE OF CHILDREN ACT FORMS.
