Range: Children Act

Correction to Statutory Instrument

In January, we notified practitioners of certain amendments to several Children Act forms, including C1 and C2. 
 
Further regulations have now been published which correct errors in the original statutory instrument which amended C1 and C2. 
 
Where reference is made to the parties requesting an interpreter, the parties will no longer be responsible for providing their own interpreter. 
 
The amending Regulations were published by the Stationery Office on 4th March but came into force on 3rd March 2005. 
 
 
Both C1 and C2 will be reprinted. 
 
PRACTITIONERS SHOULD CHECK WITH THEIR LOCAL COURT AS TO WHETHER OR NOT THEY WILL ACCEPT THE EXISTING VERSIONS OF C1 AND C2. HOWEVER, AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE SHORTLY.
