Right to Buy

On OFIS No.3 in February, we advised you of certain changes to these three forms because of amendments to the right to buy legislation introduced under the Housing Act 2004. 
 
From 18th July 2005, the right to acquire council property under the rent to mortgage scheme will no longer be available to council tenants. 
 
We have therefore amended these forms to reflect this change in the rights of tenants. 
 
THE AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN JULY BUT SHOULD NOT BE USED BEFORE 18TH JULY. EXISTING FORMS SHOULD NOT BE USED AFTER THIS DATE.
