Probate Estate Provisions

Following an increase in the threshold at which inheritance tax becomes payable on a deceased person's estate which the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced in his Budget in March, we have amended the information on the above forms. 
 
PEP Sheet (2005)(revised is used in conjunction with the forms of oath which are Probate forms 4, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12. 
 
Probate forms 1 and 1A are the forms of cover which can be used to submit documents to the relevant authorities. 
 
EXISTING VERSIONS OF THESE FORMS SHOULD NOT BE USED IN RESPECT OF RECENT DEATHS ON OR AFTER 6TH APRIL. THE AMENDED FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN EARLY AUGUST.
