The Civil Partnership Act 2004 has necessitated amendments to the above forms. 
 
We have amended Wills 4 in respect of the note at the bottom of the form to make it clear that a civil partner should not witness his or her civil partner’s signature on this form 
 
PROVIDED CIVIL PARTNERS DO NOT WITNESS EACH OTHER’S SIGNATURE, THE CURRENT FORM CAN CONTINUE TO BE USED BUT WE RECOMMEND THAT PRACTITIONERS USE THE AMENDED FORM WHICH WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. 
 
Probate 2A and 2B also require amendment but we will not be reprinting these two forms.
