Coal Mining and Brine Subsidence Claim Search

The Law Society intends to update Con 29M to incorporate enquiries for claims arising out of subsidence due to brine in the Cheshire area. 
 
This type of search has traditionally been submitted by letter to the Cheshire Brine Board. 
 
Although the 2003 Edition of Con29M will continue to be accepted until 31st December 2006, the new combined coal mining and brine search form will start to be processed on and after 31st October 2006. 
 
THE CURRENT FORM MAY BE USED UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR, BUT THE NEW ARRANGEMENTS WILL APPLY FROM 31ST OCTOBER. THE 2006 EDITION OF CON29M WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE AUTUMN.
